A PhD researcher position is available within the group of Dr Yongjing Wang in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering at the University of Birmingham to work on a new £1.8M EPSRC project on digitally enabled circular economy. The focus will be on investigating machine learning and data fusion techniques for creating decision making and planning techniques in the context of industrial robotics. The project involves collaboration with other research groups within and outside the University of Birmingham, as well as industrial partners. The successful candidate will be required to:
