The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Support Technician: Semiconductor Infrastructure. Our School has world-class laboratories which include major facilities for the development of advanced semiconductor materials and devices as well as their applications.
As a Support Technician: Semiconductor Infrastructure you will work with a core team of three technicians who maintain our Nanoscience and Technology clean rooms, equipment and infrastructure. The team members are multidisciplinary, being experts in a wide range of technologies underpinning semiconductor manufacturing including process cooling, gas systems, hydrogen generation and distribution, cryogenic liquids, and ultra-high vacuum systems. You will ensure the Nanoscience and Technology technical service continues to be recognised for its service excellence and exemplary Health and Safety record.
