The Role
We are seeking a Head of Estates and Facilities to play a critical role in delivering our 2030 strategy through the leadership and management of the university's Estates and Facilities team.
The Candidate
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will become a key member of the University’s management team, with responsibility for the development, maintenance and review of our E&F Strategy, and the operation of our North Greenwich estate.
With a proven record of success in senior estates leadership, you will have proven experience in developing, financing and delivering large capital programmes and projects to agreed deadlines and budgets.
You are have the ability to combine strategic vision with operational leadership, and you will be comfortable operating and presenting at executive board level in a complex stakeholder environment, combining proven commercial acumen with an affinity with the University’s values and mission.
The Head of Estates and Facilities has responsibility for the built estate, including its development, maintenance, and security. They will work to improve space utilisation and make a significant contribution in delivering the University’s net zero carbon and wider sustainability objectives.
