Solent University, awarded triple TEF Gold in 2023 for our outstanding teaching, learning, and student outcomes, is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a university recognised for its excellence in higher education.

Building on our strengthening REF submissions and our recent TEF Gold achievement, we are developing our research distinctiveness. We are looking for a candidate who shares these research and knowledge exchange ambitions and can contribute to the research culture at Solent, joining our active research community. In your role, you will be supported to be involved in research, knowledge exchange and scholarly activity.
The Department of Science and Engineering at Solent University is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Lecturer to teach and develop modules in Mechanical, Electronic, and Renewable Energy Engineering. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and elevating our teaching quality.

Industrial experience in automation, control systems, or related engineering fields would be advantageous, as would expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, or Internet of Things (IoT) as applied to engineering systems.
