An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative team within the Information Technology and Media Services (ITMS) directorate delivering digital transformation and IT services. ITMS’s mission is to play a key role in the DMU community by actively engaging to deliver transformational technologies that add recognised value, enabling the implementation of integrated digital solutions in a rapidly developing environment and help people embrace technology within their university life. DMU has embarked on a new Empowering University strategy and this post has an important role within the University’s Testing and Quality Assurance function to support the development of a technology modernisation programme and the objectives of the Digital Transformation strategy.
Role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of automated test suites, optimising testing processes to enhance efficiency. You will work closely with our software teams, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards are met in the delivery of DMU software products.
Ideal Candidate
You will have proven practical experience in developing and maintaining automated test suites, optimising testing processes, and ensuring software quality in a fast-paced and environment. You will possess strong technical skills in test automation, including experience with tools like UFTOne, Tosca, TestComplete or similar, and a solid understanding of both functional and non-functional testing.
You will be independent, innovative, and driven to ensure the highest quality standards, capable of understanding and addressing complex testing and development challenges.
You will be detail-oriented, pragmatic, and able to inspire and guide teams with clear communication and leadership.
