The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) are recruiting for a research ‘Monitoring and Quality Manager’ to be an integral part of the Quality Assurance team. Reporting to the Senior Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the trial teams in facilitating central and onsite monitoring activities, in addition to contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of the NCTU Quality Management System.
About you:
You will have experience in clinical trial monitoring, understanding of clinical trial design, trial conduct and trial delivery, experience of developing and/or maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documents, have the ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, and excellent attention to detail.

NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit (www.ukcrc-ctu.org.uk) based in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes. We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts, universities and industry partners.

This post is offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
