A Project Engineer working on the synthesis and scale-up of Ni-rich layered oxide cathodes for next-generation Li-ion batteries. The candidate will have access to the cathode synthesis and scale-up facilities on campus to develop and optimise routes to manufacture cathode active materials from the gram to kilogram scale.
About You
A good honours degree in a relevant subject, such as chemistry, materials science or engineering.
Demonstrate skills in battery material synthesis, including operation of chemical reactors (CSTR, TVR), co-precipitation reactions and powder processing.
