Background
The Property & Facilities Department (PAF) is responsible for providing a safe and efficient working environment for all University staff and students. PAF manages all building services, the strategic development of the estate and delivers the annual academic timetable.
An exciting opportunity has arisen working within the Space Management & Timetabling team as a Timetable Officer (Fixed Term for 6 months).
Responsibilities
Working in the Central Timetabling Service your role will be split into two main areas;
Working closely with specific Schools and supported by the Timetabling team, you will be responsible for the Schools’ timetable production and based one day a week in the School
Supporting the team in the development, implementation and management of university space and timetabling.
Person Specification
This is an important role requiring an individual with experience of timetabling and room bookings in a complex School, FE or HE environment. You will be experienced at working to set deadlines with proven customer focused, communication and organisational skills.
Experience of a timetabling scheduling system is essential, preferably Semestry’s Termtime. Proven IT skills along with the ability to pay attention to detail amongst a large volume of data received for processing is essential.
