MIE is part of the School of Environment, Education and Development (SEED), and the University of Manchester (UoM). The successful candidate will be joining a thriving and supportive academic environment, and will be assigned to one or more active research and scholarship groups. We aim to provide all of the backing and mentorship needed for the successful applicant to fulfil their professional potential in a warm and collegial environment.
The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of an excellent student experience, and will contribute to teaching, assessment and administration processes within MIE. The appointee will be expected to contribute to and enhance MIE’s research-led teaching in Education, and will undertake scholarship to enhance learning and teaching in the department.
This appointment is suitable for individuals with expertise from diverse areas of education, and the appointee will deliver a range of teaching, supervision, and assessment activities, across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within MIE, in particular MIE’s MA International Education, MA Educational Leadership and MA TESOL programmes. Applicants are encouraged to outline their intellectual fit for contributing to the department.
