About the role
This post is jointly funded by NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) Delivered by the University of Leicester and Partners and University of Leicester’s Centre for Ethnic Health Research (CEHR). As a member of the RSS you will provide methodological advice and design support to research teams throughout the East Midlands, assisting them to develop funding applications for health and social care research. As a member of the CEHR you will contribute to a wide ranging and exciting research to address health inequalities and to understand and improve the health of people from ethnic minorities.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and reputation of the RSS and CEHR locally, regionally, nationally and internationally through providing expert advice, delivering research and identifying and securing research funding.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have outstanding communication and consultancy skills and a proven ability to contribute to research design, delivery and publication. You will have significant experience of qualitative methods in applied health and social care research, including research involving ethnicity and health and/or health inequalities
