The School of Modern Languages is seeking a Lecturer in German Studies (Teaching and Scholarship pathway).
The successful candidate will undertake a full teaching load, including the development, delivery and evaluation of modules/programme within undergraduate German studies and post qualification provision within the School. They will supervise students and carry out administrative duties within the German department and wider School as required. They will pursue excellence in teaching and inspire others to do the same.
The post is full time (35 hours per week), and available from mid-November 2024 to the end of January 2026 to cover staff absence.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 31st October.
Salary: £50,694 - £55,295 per annum (Grade 7). Appointments to roles at Cardiff University are usually made at bottom of scale unless in exceptional circumstances.
