The Opportunity:
This post will support the integration of skills development as a crucial element of the academic curriculum as part of the Curriculum Transformation Programme (CTP). Working with key stakeholders across all three academic Colleges and all Schools/Deaneries, the postholder will develop resources, and inform and support teaching and professional services staff to embed a new skills framework for students.
The CTP is one of the University’s strategic change programmes. Its vision is to provide a transformation of the University’s educational offering in order to enable students to reach their full potential, prepared to thrive in an uncertain world, inspired to address global challenges and realise positive change. Building on our institutional strengths, and empowering staff who educate and guide students, CTP aims to enhance the University of Edinburgh as a place of teaching, learning and and supportive education.
This is a fixed term role to 31st July 2026. The post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Internal applications on a secondment basis are welcome.
The salary for this post is UoE Grade 8 (£49,250 to £60,321 per annum).
