We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant/Associate to contribute/make a leading contribution to several cutting-edge projects involving the development of statistical models for high-dimensional and functional data, some of which may be connected to medical imaging by working with Professor Surajit Ray.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on collaborative projects at the forefront of research and innovation.
About the Projects
You will play a key role in several dynamic initiatives:
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the research project and will have opportunities to develop new research directions in this area; will contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and presentations; and as appropriate to career stage, will work with and mentor PhD students, and assist with managing the projects.
This is an 8-month position in the School of Mathematics and Statistics with potential of extension of contract pending availability of funds. The position comes with funding for research travel and computer equipment (laptop and tablet).
