This role will require an Enhanced DBS.

The Student Funding Support team are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer-focussed Student Funding Adviser. The role is a permanent, part-time job share working 18.25 hours a week - Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm and Wednesday 9.30am-12.45pm.

The post holder will deliver information, advice and guidance on all types of student funding to students, their sponsors and other stakeholders. They will also make recommendations on eligibility for financial support in the form of hardship funds, bursaries and scholarships. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and signpost to other support services as appropriate.

About You

This is the right role for you if:

  • You would like to support the recruitment and retention of students from a financial support perspective.
  • You are IT literate and have a good standard of general education.
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You have experience of offering information, advice and guidance within a professional setting.
  • You have experience of line managing or supervising staff.
