The Role

Applications are invited for a talented and ambitious Clinical Research Associate to work within the Population Health Sciences Institute. Working with Professor Gillian Vance and Dr Sarah Sowden, the post holder will be expected to contribute across various mixed methods projects about health inequalities and workforce development.

You will hold a degree in medicine and have research experience within the area of health care inequalities and public health.

Required experience and skills include:

  • Current or recent employment on the Specialised Foundation Programme - including post-graduate academic experience in a public health related academic unit
  • Experience of undertaking research relating to healthcare inequalities and workforce development
  • Designing and undertaking qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Publication in high quality peer reviewed journal
  • Presenting research at academic conference
  • Engaging and presentating to stakeholders across partner organsations
