College Introduction
The physics discipline of Nanjing University is one of the earliest physics disciplines established in my country. After a century of development, it has a full range of disciplines, strong comprehensive strength, and significant international influence. It has always been among the best in all discipline assessments. The college has a high-level teaching team with a total size of about 155 people, including 8 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 34 national talents, and 35 national young talents. It has a number of high-level scientific and educational platforms: the State Key Laboratory of Solid Microstructure Physics, the Key Laboratory of Modern Acoustics of the Ministry of Education, the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of High Technology Research (Nanotechnology), and more than ten interdisciplinary research institutes and research centers; the Physics Teaching Experiment Center is a national talent training base for basic physics disciplines and a national physics experimental teaching demonstration center.
