The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) traces its heritage back to the first university in Wales, receiving its Royal Charter in 1828 and is honoured to have His Majesty King Charles III as Royal Patron.
UWTSD now teaches over 16,000 students across its six campuses in the UK; four in Wales and two in England. It has long-standing international educational partnerships in Europe, China, Malaysia, the USA and elsewhere.
Our aim is to transform education, and by doing so transform the lives of the individuals and the communities we serve. We are already recognised for providing an outstanding student experience:
Our success is due to the commitment, skill, knowledge, and ability of our people working together. We are now building on this strong culture and provision to become a leading provider of accessible higher education.
We are establishing a new multi-disciplinary team with responsibility for the delivery and continuous improvement of digital content distributed through our main external website and staff intranet.
This role will lead a team of experienced specialists who will work collaboratively to ensure a user-centred approach that provides a great user experience, with engaging, relevant and accessible content that meets (and exceeds) user needs.
Ultimately, the team’s work will create high performing digital experiences that will help prospective students and other external stakeholders to choose to study and work with UWTSD and enable colleagues to more effectively find and share information.
These new roles will sit alongside the other teams in the wider Marketing department such as social media, Advertising and Content Marketing.
THE ROLE

As a member of the Directorate’s management team, the postholder will work closely and collaboratively with other managers to ensure the alignment of delivery plans to support the University’s strategic marketing objectives. The Product Manager will be responsible for recruiting and managing a multidisciplinary delivery team including roles such as Senior SEO Officer, Content Designer, UX Researcher and Content Editors.
