We are seeking an enterprising and motivated Associate Programme Director to oversee the running of our MSc Finance & Economics Programme. Working closely with the Academic Programme Director and senior Departmental administrators, the post-holder will be responsible for student tutoring, admissions and careers provision. In addition they will work with a team of administrators on all aspects of student service delivery, marketing, alumni engagement and external relations, as well as helping to feed into the development of services offered by the Department. There is a business development side to the role, with the Associate Programme Director being expected to lead student recruitment and contribute towards initiatives to target and attract the highest quality student to the programme.
The ideal candidate will have experience of dealing with a wide range of people in an appropriate, sensitive and tactful manner, experience of delegating effectively and agreeing clear objectives within a team, experience of initiating, building and maintaining internal networks and establishing new communication channels and hold a degree in a related discipline. As a part-time role it offers flexibility for someone to organise their time around other commitments. It will require some evening work at various points during the year, to run pre-sessional and alumni events; however, this will not be every week. The workload is also less intensive outside of the 30 week academic year.
The Department of Finance is a world renowned and growing academic Department at LSE, delivering high quality Finance Master’s degree programmes to highly qualified students.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave, hybrid working, and excellent training and development opportunities.
