As Head of Finance for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, you will provide a full strategic, technical, operational and financial management service to the Faculty Pro Vice Chancellor (PVC) and the leadership team in the Faculty, providing expert guidance and recommendations to support the Faculty's strategy and success through a period of change.
The role will report into the Director of Financial Performance and hold a senior position within the overall Finance team.
To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified and experienced finance professional, with robust technical skills and an analytical mind-set. You will have a proactive approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to engage and develop staff and be able to build rapport with a range of finance and non-finance staff across all levels of the organisation. As the Head of Faculty Finance, you will have senior level experience of managing financial activities and be able to develop and embed effective financial systems, processes and controls.
