The University of Reading is a thriving organisation with new and exciting initiatives, which makes the International Tax Accountant a unique and varied role.
The role sits within the tax team and reports to the Group Tax Manager. However, there will be lot of opportunities to liaise with many areas of the University, as well as interacting with the University’s professional tax advisers.
The role is responsible for being a key contact regarding the University international tax matters. This includes: international compliance, considering tax implications of new territories, working closely with HR in the development and improvement of global mobility processes and assisting with queries relating to staff global mobility queries.
In addition, the role will ensure that the University’s strategic plans and proposals are reviewed and fully considered from a tax perspective.
