Opportunity Overview
We are currently seeking a Lecturer in in Occupational Safety & Health to develop and deliver high-quality teaching material across a range of modules or short programmes. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and development of programmes and will be expected to engage in scholarly activity and undertake high-quality research.
To perform as Lecturer in Occupational Safety and Health, fostering further development of this important teaching and research area within the school through addressing topics aligned with the fields of environmental management, geography, health and wellbeing, and sustainability.

The Geography and Environmental Management (GEM) team delivers a range of well-respected programmes at undergraduate and taught postgraduate levels. Our programmes carry accreditation from various professional bodies, including the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA), the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the Royal Geographical Society (RGS). Current undergraduate teaching is centred around Environmental Management and Geography. Postgraduate teaching includes programmes in Environmental Assessment and Management, Sustainability, Health and Global Environments and Safety, Health and Environment.
