The overall theme of the research is analysing trends and patterns of health outcomes and risk factors in multiple populations. The research is highly data-driven and requires careful selection and application of advanced statistical methods to complex multi-dimensional data. It involves collaborations with the World Health Organization and scientists from most of the world’s countries.
Do you have exceptional analytical and critical thinking about scientific problems; deep knowledge and intuition of statistical methods, especially Bayesian statistics, and their application to real-world data; motivation and creativity for problem solving; experience with large heterogenous datasets, especially in population health, and ability to efficiently manage and combine large quantities of data; excellent coding and wish to develop your career in Biostatistics and Population Health?
What you would be doing
You will lead the selection and application of statistical methods, and as relevant adaptation and modification of existing methods, for analysing large heterogenous population health datasets, and the evaluation and interpretation of results through statistical and epidemiological perspectives.
