Research Fellow in Social Epidemiology

The Research Fellow will investigate young carers and health inequalities using advanced longitudinal quantitative methods. Responsibilities include data analysis, literature reviews, publishing findings, collaborating with academic and policy partners, working with young carers, and contributing to policy discussions. The role is based at City St George’s, University of London, with hybrid working options available.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

• Successful track record in longitudinal quantitative research using longitudinal survey or administrative data
• Strong statistical analysis skills (STATA or R) with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and communication skills for publications and policy engagement
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across disciplines
• Passion for addressing health inequalities and influencing policy
