The Nuffield Department of Population Health undertakes world-leading research into long term, chronic health conditions, operating large-scale long-term studies and projects to identify the causes, prevention and treatment of diseases that result in avoidable suffering for millions of people around the world. Based within NDPH, The Ethox Centre is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary bioethics research centre and is a friendly, vibrant and intellectually stimulating place to work.
This interesting and varied role is an exciting opportunity to join the Ethox Centre’s Research Support team. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to provide administration support to Ethox research projects and collaborations, with a particular focus on coordinating workshops, meetings and academic visits.
You will be educated to A-level standard, or have equivalent administrative qualifications/experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a positive self-motivated and flexible approach to work as well as excellent computer skills are essential. Experience working in a large organisation and/or in higher education would be desirable.
The post is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 3 years.
