We seek to appoint a Research Associate with experience in the predictive design of molecules using machine learning methods. You will form part of an interdisciplinary team within a BBRSC Prosperity Partnership award with GSK researching the development of the next-generation of antibody-drug conjugates.
FTE: 1 (35hrs/week)

The Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate with experience in the predictive design of molecules using machine learning methods. You will form part of an interdisciplinary team of chemists, biologists and data scientists within a BBRSC Prosperity Partnership award researching the development of the next-generation of antibody-drug conjugates. You will possess a PhD or equivalent in computational chemistry or biology, cheminformatics, bioinformatics, physics, chemistry or related fields. You will have experience in antibody, protein or small molecule informatics and structural analysis, and the development and application of machine learning models to understand design-activity relationships in molecules. You will work closely with industrial collaborators from GSK with opportunities to conduct research at the GSK Stevenage site. The post is for 3 years in the first instance.
