We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Sports Lecturer to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality teaching that helps students succeed and supports the continued growth and success of our Sports department.
In this role, you will be responsible for teaching BTEC and OCR Sport qualifications at Levels 1, 2, and 3 to learners aged 16–19. You will also act as a Tutor, providing one-to-one academic and pastoral support to ensure every student receives the guidance and encouragement they need to reach their full potential. Your industry knowledge and practical experience will be essential in helping learners connect theory to real-world sports settings and career opportunities.
We are looking for a committed and inspiring practitioner with a strong background in sport and physical education. You should have the ability to deliver outstanding, engaging lessons and support learners with a range of abilities and aspirations. Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with a team-focused approach, are key to this role.
Applicants should hold a relevant teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one. A recognised qualification in sport or a related field is essential, and experience teaching or training young people is highly desirable.
Richmond upon Thames College is part of the Harrow, Richmond and Uxbridge College Group (HRUC) and is one of London’s most successful Further Education Colleges providing education and training to 16-19 year old’s and adults from across Richmond, London and Surrey, for over 80 years.
