The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering is the birthplace of modern engineering education, informing the technology leaders of today and tomorrow since 1800. Our mission is to advance knowledge and commerce in mechanical and aerospace engineering and apply fresh thinking to the challenges faced by industry and society. 

We offer a full range of mechanical and aerospace engineering programmes at Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate Taught (PGT) levels (www.strath.ac.uk/mae) as well as an active and successful research and knowledge exchange culture. 

The opportunity

We are currently seeking to employ a Laboratory Supervisor who will lead a team of technicians and have overall responsibility for the smooth running of workshops/laboratories including all aspects of Health & Safety. We would love to hear from you if you are educated to a minimum of HND level (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline, in addition to having significant, relevant work experience in a similar role.
