For the past 150 years, De Montfort University (DMU) Leicester has changed lives, built futures, and challenged convention. DMU are excited to announce its expansion to London - De Montfort University London.
Innovative Educational Partnerships Limited (IEPL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of DMU and is engaged by DMU to provide teaching and support staff for the operation of DMU’s new London campus (DMU London). DMU London is part of DMU’s ambitious growth agenda and will be a campus for teaching excellence, home to many disciplines and subjects, which have a focus on sustainability and employability, and providing students with an excellent choice of postgraduate programmes.
Employed by IEPL, the International Recruitment Manager will play a key role in expanding DMU London’s presence in key overseas recruitment markets by supporting the creation and implementation of a bespoke recruitment strategy for the London campus. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet ambitious recruitment targets, ensuring DMU London is positioned as a leader in higher education in global markets. You will focus on increasing the number of international students via sustainable recruitment channels to meet strategic and financial objectives.
You will be the lead for building effective relationships with overseas stakeholders and play a key role in supporting the wider internationalisation of DMU London. The role will necessitate regular international travel, and flexibility in working hours will be required for frequent periods of evening and weekend work. You would work in a hybrid manner, with a split presence between DMU Leicester and DMU London.
To be successful in the role, you will have experience of recruiting overseas students to a UK institution. You will need to be commercially-minded whilst maintaining the best interests of DMU London’s international students. Ideally, you will have proven track record delivering international student recruitment targets and effective marketing campaigns.
Innovation is at the heart of everything we do, therefore, a keen eye for problem solving and improving existing processes, policies and methods is required. You will be comfortable in using data analysis to inform your strategic decision making.
