We seek an exceptional Executive Director of Strategic Marketing and Recruitment to drive our ambitious plans to grow and diversify our student community. This new leadership role, reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, will lead the Marketing, Admissions and Recruitment strategy and delivery for the University, focusing on maximising opportunities within the highly competitive UK student recruitment market, providing strategic guidance to senior colleagues and ensure effective leadership of our pivotal and high-performing recruitment services.

Working with dedicated, professional and experienced Marketing and Admissions recruitment teams, you will analyse the competitive domestic market landscape to develop a comprehensive and compelling strategic recruitment plan for both local and national markets. A priority is reviewing the unique UCB brand and ensuring that our unique and significantly extended proposition is visible and understood in key market areas. The successful candidate will position University College Birmingham to effectively respond to future recruitment challenges, joining us at a transformative time as we build upon our institutional strengths and regional partnerships.

A respected senior and highly strategic Marketing and Recruitment leader, you will demonstrate the flair and creativity to develop a compelling proposition for UCB in a highly competitive market. With an understanding of the Higher Education market, you will bring senior leadership experience within a comparable Higher Education context, or a setting of equivalent complexity, and be energised by the opportunity to contribute to the future success of a University respected by employers and industry.
