Birkbeck, University of London, is seeking a fixed-term, part-time Research Assistant to join the School of Social Sciences this Summer 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity to carry out basic research, and assist the Project Lead with the advancement of two research projects. This is a part-time, fixed-term role for 13 months at 17.5 hours a week (0.5 FTE) for a salary of £19,222 per year.
The two projects are aimed at developing a better, empirical understanding of the nature of and responses to fraud in different contexts – i.e. on social media and gaming platforms in the UK, and other countries around the globe.

Salary and benefits:
Actual £19,222 per annum 0.5 FTE (£38,443 per annum FTE). Grade 6 on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated London Weighting Allowance.

Contract:
