An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Governance Officer to join the Legal, Governance and Compliance Directorate.
Key duties of the role include provision of high-quality secretariat support and progressing continuous improvement projects for the University's Committees.
The role will provide direct support to the University's Committees to include Committee secretary role, administration of papers for the proper conduct of meetings and coordination of projects within the Governance function. You will be responsible for the dissemination of complex information to enable well informed decision making and will be key in ensuring this information is expressed effectively to various stakeholders.
You will have excellent organisational and process driven skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to handle complex and sometimes highly confidential material. Your communication skills will ensure clarity of messaging to stakeholders at all levels. You will demonstrate diplomacy and tact. Strong digital skills are essential as we continue to use a wide range of technical solutions in our pursuit of efficient and effective Corporate Governance.
This full-time post is available from 1 July 2025 on an indefinite basis.
