Oxford Population Health (the Nuffield Department of Population Health, University of Oxford) is a global pioneer and leader in population health science. The department has over 900 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward.
The Communications Team work with world-leading researchers to strengthen the department’s reputation and maximise the impact of its research. As Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for all administrative arrangements for a range of meetings and events held by Oxford Population Health. You will work as part of a small team to generate engagement with a range of stakeholders, including staff, students, and external event attendees. You will manage face-to-face, online and hybrid events, working with other members of the Communications Team, the IT/AV and Administration Teams, event ‘sponsors’, venue staff and suppliers.
To be considered, you will have proven experience in events management and a strong ability to deliver high-quality service to customers. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and communicate clearly. You should be proactive and hands-on in your approach to planning, organising, decision-making, and problem-solving.

The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed term for two years.
