We are seeking a Lecturer in Computing who will contribute to our dynamic teaching and research environment. The successful candidate will engage in high-quality research that complements our strengths. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers across the university, including potential collaborations with the School of Medicine and other disciplines on campus, addressing complex data challenges in health care and beyond.

You will undertake your teaching in one 16-week semester at DIICSU in Changsha, China. You will benefit from a supportive environment that encourages professional development and offers numerous opportunities for collaboration both within the University and with external partners in both Dundee and Changsha. We are particularly interested in candidates who are excited about exploring new ways to interact with complex data, especially in the context of Applied AI, and who have a passion for interdisciplinary work.

The Dundee International Institute of Central South University (DIICSU) is an exciting new partnership between the University of Dundee (UoD) and Central South University (CSU) in China. CSU is a Class A Double First Class University located in Changsha, Hunan Province.

Please note: As this role is based between the UK and China, the role holder must hold the right to work in both countries or be eligible to obtain this. Support with making an application for the relevant work visa(s) will be provided, if necessary.
