The post holder will be expected to lecture on modules and programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and take on programme leadership duties (at Senior Lecturer). The post holder will have the ability to offer knowledge and experience particularly in the above areas of specialisation, although expertise to flexibly support other computing-related disciplines is desirable. The post holder will also be expected to develop and manage critical aspects of the expanding research and enterprise activities within the Technology subject area.
About You
You will have a demonstrable track record of providing an outstanding research-informed, personalised student learning experience; demonstrating creativity and innovation in the effective development, planning, delivery, and assessment of a wide variety of learning opportunities to enable high quality student outcomes.
You will be able to provide high quality management of modules and programmes (for Senior Lecturer), taking a proactive approach to the implementation of established quality assurance processes, contributing to the design and implementation of quality enhancement initiatives, and undertaking all necessary associated administration.
You will be able to demonstrate how you develop and/or maintain a personal record of published research and scholarly outputs, for example subject specific and/or pedagogic research or case studies, at national and preferably international level, and how you would make a proactive contribution to securing external funding to support this activity.

The Faculty of Arts, Science & Technology is one of three in the University of Northampton with around 180 academic staff and 3000 students on campus. We are organised into 6 subject groups, and offer a broad portfolio of programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels including degree apprenticeships.
