Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University is excited to be recruiting for the position of Payments Supervisor. We’re seeking a motivated professional to lead a team of five in a pivotal role within the Finance and Management Information (FMI) team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key payment processes—including Accounts Payable—and implement improvements that will make a lasting impact across the LSBU Group.
As Payments Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely processing of invoices and ad hoc payments. You’ll lead and support your team, streamline systems and procedures, and provide training and guidance to staff across the organisation. A strong focus on customer service will be essential, as you work with both internal and external stakeholders. By collaborating closely with colleagues across the FMI team, you’ll help deliver a more agile, responsive, and effective finance function.

The ideal candidate will be AAT (level 3), part qualified accountant or similar. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual who can lead with confidence, drive operational excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Payments function.
