The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator to join our busy and friendly Estates and Facilities team. The successful candidate will help to ensure that the campus buildings run smoothly for our students, staff and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating helpdesk requests, carrying out finance system tasks and maintaining up-to-date administrative records. You will also assist in scheduling departmental meetings and arranging site visits by external contractors.
The Candidate
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the confidence to implement procedures effectively, while responding to queries in a professional and supportive manner. They will be highly organised, with a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in contributing to the ongoing improvement of systems and working practices. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, are essential. Previous experience working within a Higher Education environment would be an advantage, although not essential.
