We are looking for an enthusiastic Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work in a research group studying the role of senescence in cardio-renal disease.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.
The Opportunity:
The candidate will work with human cell lines and tissue, as well as murine models to study the role of senescence in cardio-renal disease. Using in-house RNA sequencing datasets, the post-holder will discover common human renal and cardiac senescence biomarkers. They will also test the potential of spatial transcriptomics to measure drivers of senescence and fibrosis on a cellular level within diseased human heart tissue.
