About the role
We are seeking a highly organised, motivated, enthusiastic person to join the DECIDE-TAD team to develop methods that promote the inclusion of underserved groups in a multi-centre randomised controlled trial. The successful candidate will work closely with the Leicester Clinical Trials Unit, the Leicester Centre for Ethnic Health Research, the Patient and Public Involvement Leads, and local communities to create public facing materials, as well as participation and dissemination strategies that work to overcome barriers to inclusion.
About you
We are seeking to appoint an individual who has personal significant experience and previous engagement with those living with Thoracic Aortic Disease. It is essential that the successful candidate will have previous experience of working with and have existing established connections with community and/or faith organisations with an understanding of equality and diversity practices. As the ideal candidate, you will be able to define priorities and work flexibly and effectively under pressure to meet demanding objectives and deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. You will understand the need for confidentiality and be confident in building relationships both internally and externally.
