Are you a dedicated and skilled Research Associate who has the ability to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data?  Would you like to be part of an exciting, funded project that is focused on improving LGBTQ+ inclusion in home care for older people?  If yes, then please consider applying for this role. 

The University of Kent is seeking a Research Associate to join an exciting NIHR-funded social care project — LEAP (LGBTQ+ Inclusive Home Care Provision). The main purpose of the role will be to undertake research focusing on improving home care experiences for LGBTQ+ people aged 60 and over.

In this role, you will play a key role in the delivery of mixed-method approaches including conducting a scoping review, supporting a large-scale survey and carrying out in-depth interviews.

As a Research Associate you can expect to be involved in:

• Carrying out high-quality research as part of the LEAP project.
• Supporting the dissemination of research findings to various audiences.
• Engaging and working with care sector stakeholder organisations and LGBTQ+ organisations to inform the research and implement findings

What will you bring to the role?

• PHD or equivalent in a relevant discipline
• Knowledge / awareness / working with care sector and/or LGBTQ+ stakeholder organisations
• Ability to analyse and interpret quantitative survey date / qualitative interview data
