The Centre for Policing in the School of Law and Social Sciences at Middlesex University offer an exciting opportunity for a full-time Lecturer to join our friendly and dynamic team.
Middlesex University hosts one of the world’s longest-established Criminology Departments with a strong focus on applied criminological research. As lead provider in a national consortium of four Higher Education Institutions, we play a key role in delivering professional policing programmes. These include the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA), which we currently provide in collaboration with Surrey Police, Sussex Police, Thames Valley Police, and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary.
We are looking to complement our existing team through the appointment of an experienced scholar practitioner. The successful candidate must have experience of delivering high quality teaching programmes and facilitation of learning within a university and/or in practice settings. They will be able to work collaboratively, with a track record of high-quality partnership working.
Middlesex is committed to fostering an inclusive working environment. We encourage applications from underrepresented groups including people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people, women, and gender non-conforming individuals. All recruitment decisions will be based on merit.
