Founded in 1829, King’s College London is an internationally renowned research-intensive university in the heart of London, dedicated to driving positive and sustainable change in society and realising our vision of making the world a better place.
Kings has over 40,000 students from some 150 countries, and over 10,000 employees and our network spans pioneering thinkers across all sectors, from policymakers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and scientists, to name just a few. With nine diverse faculties, King’s offers a dynamic home for our students to thrive.
We are now seeking a Director of UK & International Student Recruitment, a critical leadership position within the Global Student Recruitment & Admissions team, with an opportunity to make a significant and impactful contribution to the University’s overall success and ambitions. The postholder will lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies, managing heads of regions to ensure attraction and recruitment activity is tailored to local needs and opportunities, and ensuring that the University delivers on student number targets.
The Director will be responsible for measuring success by meeting student recruitment targets, improving market penetration, increasing event participation and outcomes, raising conversion rates, monitoring stakeholder feedback, and working with others to ensure CRM data quality.
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar role in a large, complex, and competitive organisation, evidencing exemplary leadership not just in delivering successful projects and campaigns, but also in developing and coaching teams, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative culture. In working with peers across the directorate, as well as academic partners, they will require excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as evidence of financial literacy.
