We seek a highly motivated future leader to join our team's laboratory at City-St George’s. The postholder will lead an Alzheimer’s Society-funded project to investigate white matter pathology in cerebral small vessel disease and dementia. We are particularly interested in oligodendrocytes, OPCs and myelin. The project will access post mortem human brain tissue from the Rush-based ROS-MAP-MARS cohorts.
Responsibilities include planning experiments and analysing data; handling of human tissue samples; immunohistochemistry and histopathology; RNA and protein biochemistry; spatial proteomics (imaging mass cytometry); maintenance of tissue archives and databases.
