LSE is one of the world’s leading social science institutions, attracting students from across the globe.
LSE Catering operates a range of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shops across campus and within our halls of residence, providing high-quality catering, retail, and hospitality services to our vibrant staff and student community.
LSE Catering is currently looking for a Catering Supervisor to join the team at Passfield Hall.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate foodie with experience as a team leader or supervisor in general catering services. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of modern food trends, a commitment to sustainability, and a hands-on approach to delivering excellent service. Working as part of a close-knit team, the successful candidate will contribute to kitchen production, support menu development, assist with procurement, and ensure the highest standards of food safety are consistently met.
We are looking for someone enthusiastic, positive, and motivated, with a proven background in quality retail or general catering, and a passion for innovative food. Equally important is the ability to work well within a team and support the growth of junior staff members. Flexibility, teamwork, drive, and a genuine love for food and service are key to succeeding in this role.
Although this position is based at Passfield Hall, all LSE Catering staff work flexibly and may be required to support other units across our service.
Working hours are varied and may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. We offer straight shifts over an average 35-hour working week.
