The Higher Education Outreach Network (HEON) is looking to appoint a Senior Officer on a fixed-term contract, initially through the 8th June 2026.
About the role
The Senior HEON Officer will lead and oversee the delivery of HEON’s programme of outreach activity, delivered to nearby schools, colleges and in the community. This will include ensuring the impactful delivery of the programme, as well as delivering a range of outreach activities. The post will manage links and communications with our partner schools.
The post line-manages HEON’s Graduate Outreach Assistant, and works closely to oversee the delivery of externally based HEON Partner Officers.
About you
We are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for social mobility and inspiring young people.
You should work well in a team and will be familiar with working autonomously and as part of a wider team; interacting flexibly with colleagues both internally and externally. You’ll be able to offer guidance and support to colleagues as well as a direct report. Training will be in place to support you and help you develop in the role.
