Your area of responsibility

In the area of your denomination, you teach students scientific methods and pass on your practical professional experience. In consultation with the study programme coordinators, you will take on responsibility for modules and teach courses in English and German language across multiple fields of software design, including requirements engineering. You will further teach courses in areas adjacent to your denomination as required.

You are responsible for supervising student projects and theses in the Software Design and Software Design International degree programmes.

You actively support the development of the study programmes Software Design and Software Design International, for example through involvement in the external presentation of the study programme or by expanding our network with local industry for cooperation in teaching. Furthermore, you actively contribute to the academic self-administration of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science.

What you bring with you

You are team-oriented and motivated and would like to get involved in the Software Design and Software Design International degree programmes.

You have sound knowledge and current professional experience in the area of software requirements engineering. You have professional experience and are willing to teach classes in the following areas: agile development methods, multimedia technologies, object-oriented programming, and parallel and distributed computing.

You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar subject and have demonstrated your ability to think and work scientifically through a very good doctorate or an equivalent, scientific achievement.

You have excellent knowledge of English and German and are willing to teach courses in both of these languages. You communicate in an appreciative and goal-oriented manner, collaborate constructively and trustingly with others on a professional and social level.

Desirably, you also have international experience through academic and/or professional stays abroad and are sensitive to discrimination structures.
