Job description
St John’s College, one of the largest Colleges within the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint an Academic Administrator within the Education Department.
The purpose of the role, within a team of administrators, is to optimise student academic outcomes and welfare by providing comprehensive, expert, efficient and reliable administrative support to Directors of Studies, Tutors and the wider teaching community in St John’s College.
The College offers a competitive benefits package including membership of a defined contributory pension scheme, 36 days’ annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), access to a ‘cash plan’ healthcare scheme currently provided by Simplyhealth, free lunch (up to a specified monetary limit), free use of an on-site Gym and free parking close to the College site, subject to availability and an Agile Working policy whereby eligible staff may be able to work remotely for up to 40% of their working hours.
