What we're looking for

We are looking for someone excited, motivated and can use initiative to drive this position forward

You will be organised, motivated and ready for a challenge in this role.  You will be able to work closely with learners who are Looked-After or Care Experienced and provide appropriate advice, guidance and mentoring.

Primary duties include:

• Managing a case load of Looked After or Care Experienced Learners
• Attend multi-agency meetings such as PEPs and LAC reviews
• Liaising with relevant schools, social workers and other agencies including local authorities to manage transition Looked Afters Learners
• Identify looked after learners at risk of not achieving and implement effective support plans
• Provide mentoring and progression support for Looked After Learners to support them to achieve their goals
• Refer and signpost learners for additional support internally and externally
• Travel across different campuses to meet 1:1 with learners who may require support or advocacy
