Key Responsibilities
To develop and deliver high-quality teaching material across a range of modules and/or short programmes
To contribute to the planning, design and development of programmes.
To engage in scholarly activity and undertake high quality research.

About the School or Department
The Directorate of Social Sciences is a vibrant and research active part of the School of Health & Society with a portfolio of research- informed undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Social Work, Social Policy and Sociology & Criminology. We are known locally, regionally, nationally and internationally for our applied research into the interface between health, wellbeing, welfare, criminal justice and social care.
Our Cognitive Psychotherapy programme has built a strong reputation over many years and has gained level 1 accreditation with the BABCP. We are looking to appoint a 0.2 lecturer in CBP who will strengthen our established teaching team by sharing our passion for providing a high-quality learning experience for students and contribute to developing good practice through curriculum development.
