The School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies are seeking a talented Concept Artist to join our team. Candidates will have a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of styles and the ability to work across styles and genres. Applicants for this role should have extensive knowledge of Concept Art principals and good applied understanding of essential industry level software. The applicant should have practical experience of applied Concept Art, ideally in a commercial capacity in industry. Applicants should hold a teaching qualification or be prepared to study to complete a teaching qualification within 2 years as part of the role. Ideal applicants will have a good practical knowledge of both 2d and 3d software and be able to example extensive use of these in commercial practice.

The position we are filling is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and a satisfactory DBS disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service is required as part of our clearance procedures.

Please be advised that due to the minimum salary thresholds imposed by the UKVI, this post may qualify for University sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route.
