An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of our thriving and innovative community, which values its staff and places students at the heart. We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our Student Engagement team, who can help drive aspects of our ambitious strategic plans, which aim to maintain an environment that promotes positive outcomes and opportunities for our diverse student body. The Senior Student Engagement Officer will be responsible for working with academic faculties and professional services teams to develop and oversee university-wide projects, utilising available data to identify areas for intervention, and providing a targeted approach to finding solutions. These projects may include ensuring that students receive adequate advice and guidance, personalised support and development work, and the creation of engaging events and activities. This role provides the postholder with an opportunity to work on elements of institutional priorities such as access and participation, and retention strategies.
